Art Rave on the move
We are please to announce that Char’s Landing on Argyle in the very heart of Port Alberni’s Arts District will be Art Rave’s new base of operations.
This venue makes possible for us to hold monthly Art Rave social evenings.
They will be held on the last Wednesday of every month from 7-10 PM. There are plans for live music, lively discussion, collaborative art making (no experience necessary), performance art, special events and much, much more.
And everyone is welcome!
Advance details of each event will be posted here, on our website & Shaw Cable, Channel 4.
Our first social will be held November 26th. In addition to the usual fun, that evening will include an Art Rave Silent Auction Fundraiser. It’s a great way support the local artistic community and do some Christmas shopping while listening to music and perhaps enjoying a Char’s drink special!
Alberni Art Rave is a non-profit society dedicated to promoting and supporting the local artistic community. We welcome your donation of Silent Auction merchandise. We would especially appreciate the support of any of the talented artists in our area who would care to donate their work. To arrange drop off or pick up of your donations, please contact us in a private message.
