Alberni Art Rave

The Art Rave Festival site on lower Argyle will result in some traffic diversion. * Please note that you can reach the Saturday morning Spirit Market by using the available detour.

Road Control will be in effect on Argyle from Kingsway to Harbour Rd during the following times.
Friday, Aug. 1st. from 9AM-4PM. After 4 PM it will be single lane access each direction  to 8 AM August 2. Road control will be in full effect from Sat 8 AM Aug. 2 to Mon 11 PM August 4.
During Road Control periods, detoured traffic will be directed to the Quay down Kingsway to First Avenue in front of Kingsway Hotel.

Artisan brewing is thriving all over Vancouver Island. Visit the Art Rave Beer Garden and enjoy a selection of Island craft beer, including local favourites.
Beer Garden is serving from Noon to 11PM. Area closes at 11:30PM

The Beer Garden is shaded and adjacent to the Art Rave Sound Stage. It’s a great spot to sit and enjoy the tunes. Don’t miss the Saturday night headliner, The New Groovement, playing at 8:30PM.

Unfortunately, Ron Hamilton will be unable to perform on Monday, July 28th. We were really looking forward to seeing his talk on Nuu chah nulth Dance Curtains. The event has been postponed and we will keep you updated with any new information.

Pamela Holl Hunt will have a piece in the Art Rave’s Juried Show running July 25th to August 4th in the Train Station Gallery space. 

Public Gallery hours are: July 25-31st: 10-4, August 1: 10-3, August 2 & 3: 10-7, August 4: 10-6. Admission is FREE

A wonderful float created with very little money, but a great deal of creativity and enthusiasm, the Art Rave entry into the Canada Day parade was a veritable party on wheels and a great success!
