A gentle reminder that the Mermaid’s TLC Workshop will be held at Char’s Landing on Thursday, August 20th, from 7 to 9pm. Hope to see you there!

Hi Ravers! Trust you are enjoying a fine valley summer.
A decision has been made to discontinue Art Rave’s monthly socials. Charlene at Char’s Landing has kindly offered use of her venue for future get togethers, celebrations, fund-raisers and some collaborative art making. We’ll post all plans as they firm up.
The mermaid needs some TLC and we welcome you to join us at Char’s Landing for that event as yet unscheduled. So many of us are holidaying.

Hi Art Rave members! Many of us will be away in July and August so the Art Rave Board has decided to take a summer Hiatus.
That means there won’t be Art Rave Socials in July and August at Char’s.

Besides being part of this fun community event, volunteers will receive a ticket for FREE Pizza and admission to a concert evening at Char’s Landing on Sunday night, June 21st at 7PM.  On stage 7-9PM. Mystic Groove with original jazz and beyond

Sunday 9-11 pm, don’t miss Tasman Jude, The Soldiers of Love Recruitment Tour.  This Reggae band is wrapping up their second Australian tour and return to tour Canada from Halifax to Port Alberni. Their most recent album went #1 on ITunes.
Art Rave sincerely thanks Char’s Landing for donating free admission to our hard working volunteers. Char’s Landing will be extending it’s closing time during the Festival, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Congratulations to ADSS grad, Kennedy O’Donovan, recipient of this year’s Art Rave Bursary! Kennedy is going on to study music at UVic.
